What: The Rock Tribe Connection Center is a relational network of folk who help one another become their true selves in Christ through the power of the gospel (Romans 1:16). Our connection together is a Christ-centered, Biblically-based, relational, and experiential discipleship strategy for people who want to heal and mature emotionally, relationally, and spiritually – becoming like Christ in the way they love and live. Our primary discipleship strategy is to help facilitate and resource small groups of three – Jesus plus 3 (J3s). We will learn how to connect with Jesus and one another in a way that results in healing and growth, ultimately empowering them to fearlessly love like Jesus in all their relationships.
Purpose: To raise up people who help one another heal and mature into Christ’s likeness. By providing spiritual fathering, mothering, mentoring, coaching, and heart-focused friendships in J3s, we will obtain Jesus’ mind, heart, love, and lifestyle.
Expected results: Because of the power of God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, in the context of a heart-focused family/community, we fully expect that we will:
a.) experience healing from past wounds, trauma, and pain,
b.) be set free from bondage, strongholds, and prevailing sins,
c.) grow and mature emotionally, relationally, and spiritually,
d.) operate in their true identity in Christ,
e.) learn how to be filled, led, and empowered by the Holy Spirit,
d.) connect more deeply with Jesus and grace-filled friends,
e.) become joy-fueled, life-giving men as a result of creating securely attached long-term relationships with God and others,
f.) enjoy the support and encouragement of other men who are on this amazing life adventure with Jesus,
g.) discover their gifts and callings while being encouraged to fulfill their destiny in God’s kingdom.
Some themes for our training will include:
a.) how to experience the presence of Jesus throughout each day,
b.) how to hear God’s voice and communicate with Him,
c.) how to be led and empowered by the Holy Spirit,
d.) how to know and live out of our true identities in Christ,
e.) how to obtain the mind of Christ,
f.) how to experience freedom in Christ,
g.) how to create and sustain relational connections, love bonds, and secure attachments with others,
h.) how to escape enemy mode to the degree that we “love our enemies”,
i.) how to remain relational and return to joy when triggered by big emotions,
j.) how to discover and operate in our gifts,
k.) how to operate in kingdom stewardship in the areas of time, money, energy, and resources.
