A welcome and introduction to Jesus Men BASECAMP Training, an eight-week course leading you into relational connection with the best LIFECoach imaginable, the Holy Spirit, who is the Spirit of Jesus, and also in connection with other men.
Jesus’ promise to send the Holy Spirit, otherwise known as the “Paraclete”, “comforter”, or “COACH”, is foundational to a life centered in Jesus. The Holy Spirit will be our COACH for the duration of our lives. Our life-journey could be characterized as an EXPEDITION. It’s not a day-trip but a well planned, adventurous, journey that takes us to many summits or accomplishments in our lives.
We don’t do this journey on our own. In fact, it’s nearly impossible to accomplish EXPEDITION LIFE on our own. We do this best with Leaders and Guides and with other Team Members. Since this is really an expedition, or journey, of a life in God, we have a seriously experienced and wise COACH, the Holy Spirit.
There two main components to Jesus Men’s LIFE Course.
- BASECAMP LIFE – a welcome and introduction to the JESUS MEN’S LIFE course. Duration: 8 weeks. (See lessons listed below.)
- EXPEDITION LIFE – walking out the journey, the main course content for JESUS MEN’S LIFE. Duration: Ongoing monthly connection and learning.
